About Our Jersey
Jersey is a soft, stretchy, breathable, fully opaque fabric that's an exceptional choice for those who are new to hijab or who simply need an easy, fuss-free, yet polished option. The slight "grippiness" from the stretch means that jersey can be securely styled without an underscarf or pins, making it a true "go anywhere" hijab that you can simply throw on and forget.
The HH Difference
Our jersey has a soft, smooth feel with some substance to it — it's thicker than most of our fabrics, ensuring durability while still remaining breathable and light enough to wear in any season. The slight sheen on one side of the fabric adds a bit of extra polish to your look. Pearl-stitched hems finish the seams without adding any bulk, whether you fold the edge under or not. Most importantly, our high-quality weave uses tightly wound fibers that resist pilling and help keep its shape over time. Stretch fabrics are often more delicate than woven options, but with proper care, our jersey hijabs will far outlast similar ones on the market.
About Our Woven
Sustainably produced with bamboo fiber, bamboo wovens have a soft, airy feel that's similar to woven cotton. The bamboo fiber provides built-in 50 UPF sun protection as well as anti-bacterial properties, high breathability and moisture-wicking that makes it feel fresh and cool to the touch, making it an exceptional choice for hotter weather (although it can be worn in any season). Our bamboo fabric is opaque without folding and does not stretch. The lightness of the fabric makes it ideal for more voluminous hijab styles, and like jersey, it has a bit of "grip" to it that allows it to be worn securely without an underscarf and pins.
The HH Difference
Shop WovenOne of the most unique features about our bamboo woven hijabs is that the fiber is mechanically processed (ie. extracted by hand), in contrast to chemical processing that uses chemical solvents to extract the fiber. The end result is a fabric that's extremely soft to wear, as well as softer on our manufacturing partners and the environment. It's also especially versatile, with a high-quality weave that's more durable than most other viscose, modal or cotton hijabs on the market.
About Our Chiffon
Chiffon is a light, airy, non-stretch fabric that's versatile enough for casual, professional or formal wear. It has a translucent weave that becomes opaque when folded over. Because of its lightness, it's an especially great option for when you want a sleeker, less bulky style or need a hijab that you can tuck into a turtleneck or high-collared shirt. Because it's a smooth fabric without stretch, you may prefer to wear it with an underscarf and/or magnetic pins to secure looser or draped styles. That said, certain styles — like CEO Melanie's favorite way to wear it — do just fine without an underscarf too.

About Our Satin
Satin is a high-shine, luxurious fabric that's an obvious choice for formal looks and also works well for professional wear or everyday glamour. Due to the smooth, shiny surface, this fabric is best worn with an underscarf and magnetic pins, or styled in more secure "tucked-in" styles rather than ones with loose drape.
The HH Difference
Our satin hijabs are meticulously finished with elegant baby hems for sleek styling. It has a hint of stretch that helps to mitigate the slipperiness inherent to this fabric. It is also extremely durable, resists wrinkling, and will never fade or pill, making it an excellent option for anyone who needs an extremely easy-care option. Its liquid-smooth surface is also an excellent choice for those with natural or textured hair that requires extra protection from friction, damage or moisture loss. (This is a benefit you can also achieve by wearing one of our Silk-Blend Satin Underscarves underneath any fabric.)
